A truly stunning and rare Edwardian / early 1920s coat. Lightweight (described as "Fall weight" in catalogs from the period) black wool. A-line silhouette that has a loose attached back belt and a front tie belt. Asymmetrically front buttons. Wide, silk lined cuffs. Front patch pockets have an embroidered trim at the top. Over-sized back collar with satin lining, gros grain trim, and button accents. The coat is unlined but has covered seams...impeccable construction and detailing. Hits above the knee.
